Working from home may sound like a luxury, and it is if you have a clear guideline of how to get your work done without letting the pleasures of your home get in the way. You have all heard of the saying “do not mix business with pleasure” right. 1. Schedule Your Time

Working from home can make you get your eyes off the prize very easily especially since you are your own boss. No rush, no answering to nobody, such freedom, right? Don’t put his mentality in your head. Make a to-do list for every day at a set time and getting the basic tasks done is a very good way of getting you into a working mood. Remember you are not a monopoly.

 2. Customize Your House

There is no place than home, the place you kick back and relax at the end of the day, right? That’s true, and as such, you should not view your home as a home but as a workplace. Try to get a place in your house and customize it to look and feel like an office. You can make use of one of the extra rooms if any or clear out the basement as long as you are away from the tempting pleasures like the entertainment set. Also, behave like people in ordinary jobs do. Dress up for work, get your “office” on time, and have a schedule on when doing what.

 3. Be Money Oriented

You may be wondering why I would advise you to be money oriented when the main goal of working is to get money. It is not uncommon to hear people talk about how they can’t wait to get out of work; it is like they are imprisoned. This should not be the case for you, especially since there is no one supervising you. Be intent on making more and more money, and every time you make some more you will feel that the work has paid off, and the way you won’t relax on the job. Also, develop a passion for the job to not feel like a prisoner.

 4. Make A Deal With Your Family

As long as you are working at home, you will have a lot of interaction with you family. However, try to make them understand that you are on a “real” jobe even if it is from home. They must respect your time.

  5. Give Yourself Some Time Off

All work and no play make John a dull boy. Take some time off to refresh your mind and clear your head so you can resume your job with replenished energy. This way you will offer better services making your customers feel more satisfied and build your reputation. The last thing you want is to get burned out.

Fortunately, you have a shop that offers the tools they needed. Everybody in your place is all eager to dig that treasure. Since, you have the tools they desperately needed, instead of charging P100 you can now sell each one with P1000. They are your market group. You have the solution they are looking for.

Resist The Urge Of Staying In The Comfort Zone

Masdan ninyo yung aso, sobrang komportable siya sa kanyang tinutulugan na upuan. Ganyan din ata itsura natin pag tayo ay nasa comfort zone natin.

Lahat tayo may comfort zone and all of us are very fond of our personal comfort zone. It is very, very tempting to just stick with doing the things that we have always done and do them in the same way we have always done them.

After ko mag-fail sa offline business ventures ko, kinalimutan ko na muna ang pag-nenegosyo at nag concentrate na lang ako sa pagiging full-time employee.

Naging masaya ako sa daily routine ko:

  • Gigising ako ng maaga.
  • Papasok sa trabaho.
  • Uuwi sa bahay pagkatapos ng work at manonood ng tv shows bago matulog.
  • Kinabukasan, yun lang din ang routine ko. One week, one month, one year na ganun lang ang ginagawa ko.

Matagal din ako nag-stay sa comfort zone ko. Wala akong binago sa mga daily routines ko. Then, one day bigla ko naisip yung matagal na itinuro ng isang kakilala ko na online job. Sabi ko bigla sa sarili ko, “Ay oo nga pala, di ba maraming paraan para kumita sa internet?”

That started my hunt for ways to earn online kaso bilang isang newbie I didn’t know how to differentiate a legitimate online business from online scams. So, kahit kapos ako sa time what I did was to do my research.

The Power Of Goal Setting

The great Zig Ziglar said,

“The reason you can not reach for your dreams is because you do not have goals in your life! We can not live life as a wandering generality. We have to become a meaningful specific!”

What’s your specific goal for this year?

Think about it. If you do not have a goal then your priorities are very loose since you do not know what you want in life.  If you do not have a goal, you don’t need nearly as many excuses, because you will never miss it.

Every successful people who made an impact are those people who had set goals. So before we can experience success in life, we need to set specific goals. If you read books on goal setting you might be familiar with the acronym SMART, which stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time Bound.

Your goals should be SMART.

S=Specific

Your goals must not be vague. Your goals must define what you really want. For example, your goal to “Become wealthy this year” is vague. A goal “To start earning P50,000 monthly by May 2016” is more specific.

M= Measurable.

As well as being specific your goals should be measurable. “I will earn P1,000,000 by next month” is not attainable if you are just starting out.

A= Actionable.

You cannot set goals that you cannot influence directly.  For example, “To win the lottery next month.” Is a goal that you have no direct control. There’s nothing you can do to change the outcome.

R= Realistic

You cannot set goals that are bigger than you are. Breakdown your ultimate goal into smaller steps. For example, you set a goal” To earn P100,000 monthly this year,” you might start off with a goal of reading blogs about home based business and researching ways on how to earn income from home.

T= Time-bound

A goal must include a time scale. “To start my online business by December 25, 2017″ is far better than “To start an online business.”

How You Can Avoid Joining the Failing Masses

Here’s a thing about starting an online business or any business, there is no guarantee of success under any circumstances. Even big businesses can fail at new business ventures. A Failure is always an option but the possibility of success can be optimized.

You can optimize the possibility of success by:

    • Having a good solid business plan in place BEFORE you launch your online business. You need to have the steps from getting from point A to point B listed in great detail.
    • But, before writing your business plan, it is important that you must be clear about your goals. You must evaluate your interest and test if your idea of online business is sound and suits your lifestyle.  As an online entrepreneur, your success will depend on how well you have studied yourself.
    • Expecting to work very hard to accomplish your goals. You must never expect anything to be easy. You will be right most of the time because things are rarely as easy as they look.
    • Not falling for ‘get-rich-quick schemes’. The Internet woods are full of those who prey upon those who are looking for quick and easy ways to become rich. Those ways do not exist.

Remember those statistics! Ninety percent of all new online businesses fail in the first 120 days. You don’t have to be part of that majority. You can become a part of that 10% minority of successful Online business entrepreneurs by having a good solid business plan in place before you launch your online business.

All online entrepreneurs have a business plan, but few bother to write it down. Writing down your plan is important to communicate your ideas and goals to the people who matter. It also serves as a manual to which you can refer to compare how your online business is doing with the goals you have set.

There is an old saying: “Those who fail to plan, plan to fail.”

Each step toward success requires work, time and patience. Sometimes things don’t work out right on the first try. You have to be willing to try again and again until you do succeed.

I read this in a business book, “The success of any business both of the online variety, as well as the offline variety, require the right and healthy mindset.”

A right and healthy mindset will not guarantee success but a wrong and unhealthy or unrealistic mindset will most assuredly guarantee failure.

What are the right and healthy mindset then?

  • The right and healthy mindset are the willingness to work as hard and as long as is necessary to achieve the goals that have been set.
  • A right and healthy mindset are the willingness to take the time to make a good, solid business plan that is based on sound business principles.

People who believe that they can make a work from home career, an online business, or an offline business, for that matter, thrive without having to actually put in any time or effort are simply doomed to failure from the beginning.
